quality photos are really important for an accurate diagnosis here are four quick tips for great pics using a smartphone works best having a friend take your photo is better but selfies will also do the trick use a flash or make sure you have good lighting and get really close to capture only your mouth not your entire face the first photo is of the front of your teeth bite down on your back teeth relax your lips and use two fingers to pull the sides of your mouth to expose your teeth if you're taking a selfie and can't use both hands bite and smile big to show as many of your teeth as you can your final photo should look like this the second photo is of the left side of your mouth bite down on your back teeth look to the right relax your lips and pull your left cheek back with one finger your final photo should look like this the third photo is of the right side of your mouth bite down on your back teeth look to the left relax your lips and pull your left cheek back with one finger your final photo should look like this the fourth photo is of your top teeth open your mouth really wide and tilt back your head your final photo should look like this the fifth photo is of your bottom teeth open your mouth really wide and tilt your chin down your final photo should look like this

What Happens Once You Send Your Pictures?

1 – REVIEW:
Once you send our office your pictures, Dr. Fotovat will review them and one of our treatment coordinators will get back to you with our treatment recommendations within 2 business days.


2 – RECOMMENDATION:
Dr. Fotovat will create a custom treatment plan and our treatment coordinator will give you an estimate on the treatment time and cost. If you are interested, we can schedule a virtual meeting (or phone call) to review any questions you may have.


3 – SCHEDULING:
Once you are ready to begin your treatment, we will schedule a diagnostic consultation in our office. We can’t wait to meet you in person and finalize your treatment plan!


4 – GETTING STARTED:
At your diagnostic consultation appointment we will take a digital scan of your teeth, photos, and digital x-rays. This way, we can verify our original treatment plan. We will answer any questions you may have and start your journey to a healthy Picture Perfect Smile!
